    What if the dress code was: “individual expression is not mutually exclusive to collective acceptance?”I was one of the millions of people who were severely bullied throughout their childhood and continue to be bullied for the way that I express myself through clothing. Clothes have always been a powerful way for me to express myself. Through the way we dress, we can discover parts of ourselves that have long been buried under societal norms. Trauma fundamentally means a disconnection from self. In order to build a gender-equal world and at large more peaceful, we need to be free of gender stereotypes and norms. In order to build peace in the world, we need to build peace within ourselves first. And that can benefit the workplace.
