It’ll be difficult to find someone that doesn’t love a good glass of Prosecco, and now there’s an even more fun and creative way to enjoy one of the nation’s favourite tipples.

By creating your very own Prosecco station of course!

The creative idea, often seen at weddings, is a great way to offer guests a glass of bubbly with a twist.

And it’s easy enough to do, whether it's on a make shift table in your back garden, or hiring in a fancy drinks trolley for a special occasion.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1. A surface big enough to hold your Prosecco, glasses and the other bits and bobs you’ll need.

Photos we've seen have included everything from a distressed wooden table to a vintage dresser.

2. A sign so people know exactly what the table is, and that they're welcome to help themselves.

A chalkboard should do just the trick.

3. Prosecco, obviously. Take a look at our Prosecco reviews to find the best.

4. Glasses - the prettier the better. If it’s for a wedding, try and mix it into your colour scheme.

We particularly like these copper Champagne glasses from Shabby Store.

5. Juices and cordials – a splash of peach cordial, bitters such as Campari or even a dash of gin are great with Prosecco.

6. Fresh fruit – pic ‘n’ mix style jars of fresh raspberries, strawberries and even lime will make the table look pretty, and spruce up a glass of fizz.

And ta-dah, it’s as easy as that. Plus, the beauty of a Prosecco station is that you can decorate it however you please - and it's fair to say that those who have done so have been pretty creative...

Now go and pour yourself some bubbly and thank us later...
