Chili Lime Mango Mocktail - Maya Kitchenette (1)MY MOTHER IS OBSESSED WITH THIS CHILLI SALT RIM AND I’M TOTALLY DIGGING THIS COMBO TOO! Forgive me for “shouting.” I just wanted my thoughts to come across in caps.

So I made this mocktail a few days back and have already encored it twice, as we enjoyed it quite a lot. A little too much I have to say. There is something about the combination of mango, mint, and lime that is so refreshing and this mocktail ticks all the boxes when it comes to a perfect non-alcoholic beverage. You might be tempted to skip the chili salt rim but PLEASE DON’T. You need to understand the kick that the chili adds to this drink. Your girl here was mind-blown. The little heat from the chili powder really balances out the sweetness of the mango. I am talking about seriously delicious stuff here.

You can puree the mango if you are planning to make a big batch of this for a party. I mean who has the time to muddle a whole lot of mangoes when you need to make 10 liters of this right? However, If I had 10 liters of this drink, I would just want to drown myself in it, without even sharing. Sorry, I’m digressing.

Anyway, I was saying if you need to make a big batch of this, just puree the mangoes, toss in some lime slices and mint in a pitcher, and top it with the lime soda. In my case, I used 7-up. Sprite works equally well too. Drop a good tablespoon (or two) of the chili-salt in the pitcher if you do not have time to rim the glasses if you are making this in bulk.

This Chili Lime Mango Mocktail is AMAZING and I think you guys are going to love it too. Cold, sweet, tangy, and subtly spiced. Please give it a try!
